Permanent makeup is a cosmetic tattoo that saves time putting on makeup as well as money that is used to by cosmetics that wear off. These tattoos last a long time but not forever. You may need a touch up in 3-10 years to brighten it up. Protecting the application area will prolong the results.

Topical anesthetics are applied to the skin. On a scale of 1-10, typical pain level during the procedure is around 1-3. After care is very important. All procedures must be gently cleaned with anitibacterial soap, rinsed, patted dry and covered with a small amount of petroleum jelly at least twice a week for a month. Swimming is not allowed for the first week following the procedure. Picking and scratching are not advised in order to avoid losing color and/or scarring.
